Introduction

Drift is driven by chance and a little temperature check, based on the wind and air quality, texture, feel, speed, and weight. By moving our bodies, and redirecting our attention from ruminating thoughts, to detailed, micro-sensations in our surroundings we can feel a little more regulated.

Drift is also an indication to let go a little; contemplate on the vitality of letting things happen. Let yourself be led, and leave a little bit to the unknown. We cannot control everything. You can use your discernment to decide when to respond, and when to  lean into what feels easeful. In fact making the right decisions relies on this process.

With this in mind, don’t force anything or try to make any decisions during this quest. Let your senses guide you through the evergreen blooms, dandelions, cattails, and the Humber river.
